This is an interesting question given the fact that a large part of our services revolves around accounting or accounting related such as payroll services. We believe that our added value is not in the bookkeeping itself but in helping our clients analyze their numbers and plan ahead so they can realize their goals.
With this forward-looking approach, we need to minimize the time our clients (and ourselves) spend on doing the actual bookkeeping. That’s why we are teaming up with Twinfield and streamlining the bookkeeping process. Twinfield is one of the many accounting software suppliers, such as Quickbooks. We chose to work with Twinfield because it is user-friendly and can be linked to other software. For example, software that scans and recognizes invoices and automatically posts these invoices or Point of Sale systems and software. This makes our, but certainly your, life a lot easier.
Look out for a roll-out of Basecone together with Twinfield, which will be the driving force in automating your accounting process. After a successful period of internal testing of these solutions at Baker Tilly, we are currently running two pilot projects for clients, one on Saba and one on St. Maarten.
