Baker Tilly transfers its Sint Maarten operations to Curaçao due to a shortage of qualified personnel in Sint Maarten

Dear relation,

For a long time, we have been trying to recruit qualified accountants and tax lawyers to work in Sint Maarten. This has proven to be difficult. Due to the shortage of qualified staff, it is with a heavy heart that we have made the difficult decision to close our physical Sint Maarten office as per September 1, 2023.

We are very saddened by this development as the island of Sint Maarten is a wonderful place to work and live. We will continue to provide our services in relation to Sint Maarten through our Curaçao office.
